Imagine, you have 80 digital objects and 4 video walls at your disposal in Amsterdam Central Station and you want to achieve something unique. A day without commercial campaigns for a change, but surprising passers-by with digital art by artists and upcoming talents. Exterion Media does exactly this! On 7 November 2019 for 24 hours the Digital out of Home-screens will be all about the Design in Motion Festival.
In cooperation with Studio Dumbar 2700 entries from all over the world were evaluated and assessed. A final selection of 400 designs are considered to be the best work of motion design from across the globe. It is important that in this selection the digital design would draw the public’s attention through both its design as its functionality. These designs in the final selection are broadcast in varying combinations on all screens on Amsterdam Central Station for 24 hours. At the end of the day a winner is selected of the 400 works of art that were shown.
Curious about the impact of creative industry on the interpretation of DooH and outdoor advertising? Go to Amsterdam on 7 November. During the festival a number of presentations will be held in the Royal Waiting room and tours across the train station will be given starting at the Amstelpassage and providing background information about the designs on show and about the artists.
